where art and science merge
This is where art and science merge. The cutting edge lotus inspired roof design is a symbolic gesture of welcome to guests, a masterpiece by architect Mr. Moshe Safdie. The museum’s envelope consists of a double curved Fiber Reinforced Polymer, similar to those used in yachts. Its unique shape required specialized labor - a team of ‘Spidermen’ had to skillfully scale the building to do the installation, working in tandem with a rope access specialist. The result was this 60-metre high work of marvel.
